Danika was born and raised in Louisiana, and she cherishes her roots. Danika is a published author of 8 books. She is currently working on book number 9 which will be available to purchase by Valentine’s Day. Her passion for poetry goes way back to when she was a child. Writing always made her feel at peace and she loved that she was blessed with the calling to encourage others with the GIFT that God had given her. Danika does speaking engagements as well as writes personalized poems upon request. Danika has a strong love for her southern roots and a desire to leave positive marks in others’ lives that won’t be erased. She was also prophetically gifted with the name Bayou, meaning “God is by you.”
